Making it Happen

Welcome, Makers!

We're getting close, SO CLOSE to Fredericton having its own makerspace. Yes, its VERY own makerspace!

A makerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, hackerspace , or hackspace) is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and/or collaborate.

Over the last couple of years, I've had the privilege of meeting some amazing makers in this city. I've seen awesome home built quad copters, a life size R2D2 , incredible photography, and breath taking art. The people behind these creations are as amazing as the creations they make. Art, sculpting, woodworking, robots, hacking... passion. This city has it all and we're going to bring it all together under one roof! We want you (all of you) to be part of the space and turn it into something amazing and unique. FOR the community - BY the community.

What will YOU make?
